SoarBlue is a liberal lifestyle store located in Fayetteville, Arkansas that offers apparel, accessories, artwork & more! Its mission is to practice radical kindness, lead with love & bring awareness to social issues with positive messaging.
I was given the opportunity to be the creative director for SoarBlue–and it was a blast. I created a wide range of deliverables for this brand, from social media graphics to apparel designs, plus the occasional web design and maintenance. Below is some of the illustrative design work I have created for the website and merchandise.

As the in-house designer, I begin with brainstorming and sketching ideas that are unique to the current events, while maintaining the brand's priorities. Once an illustration is finalized, I use sublimation printing on the apparel and drinkware to create completely custom items–exclusive to Soar Blue.
When designing SoarBlue apparel, I fully embraced the retro/groovy/far-out style of old rock band tees but add a modern progressive twist. For their most recent launch, I was inspired by Grateful Dead concert posters and the notorious Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Being a small business, competition is very high and things tend to move quick. Staying on top of current design trends, political issues, product testing, and day-to-day objectives has taught me how valuable multitasking is–and how rewarding it can be!
